Echo Chamber

My mind is an echo chamber.
Vague voices fill
My vacant vacuum.
Vowels and volumes.
Loud and soft.
Mellow music melting
The reason in the murmurs.
Crisp chords slicing
Through the subtle silence.
My mind is an echo chamber.
My ears entrances.
Allowing every atom a chance
To affect me in any
Way it intends.
Granting access
Without price or question.

Talk to me, Ambience!
I am lost in you.
Speak to me!
Cry out in words that encompass
All of my senses.
Build me up!
And break me down.
Mumble sweet nothings in my ear,
Meant only for me to hear.
Coax and comfort my soul.
Let me slowly fall in love with your voice,
Accent, and every tiny, atmospheric inflection.
Let me dance alone in your arms!
Fall asleep and wake up in your embrace.
Overwhelm me with all the information
You have to offer,
And watch me as I stand in awe!
Will you cry?
When I leave and walk off into Silence?
